Membership Requirements

Fire Fighter

Anyone living in Township of Winslow or its vicinity over the age of 18 may apply for membership in the Winslow Township Fire District.  He or she must be physically fit and must complete a physical and Fire Fighter I within one year of membership as defined by N.J.A.C. 5:70-1 unless such member is transferring, in good standing, from an accredited fire department within the state.

Junior Firefighter

Any resident of the Township of Winslow or its vicinity between the ages of 16 and 18 may apply for membership as a Junior Firefighter.  Upon application, the Junior Firefighter and his parents/guardians shell meet with the Fire Chief to explain the program including rules and regulations.  The parents/guardians are required to co-sign the application.  All Junior Firefighters shall be required to operate under the rules and guidelines of the Winslow Township Fire District.
